Are homemade pickles better than store-bought pickles?

Homemade pickles are healthier than store-bought. Most store-bought pickles have high fructose corn syrup which is an ingredient that is really not good for your health. Read more about the negative effects of high-fructose corn syrup. Also, some pickle brands add yellow food coloring, unhealthy preservatives, and loads of sugar.
