- 2 cans tuna
- 1 avocado
- 1/3 cup pickles (chopped into small bite-size pieces)
- 6 slices whole wheat bread
- 3 slices of cheese (I like using havarti)
Homemade Pickles
- 1 long cucumber
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup distilled vinegar
- 1 tbsp pickling salt
Instructions
To make the Avocado Tuna Melt Panini's
- Mash avocado in a bowl with a fork until smoothed
- Add cans of tuna and mix with the mashed avocado
- Stir in chopped pickles
How to make homemade Pickles
- Slice your cucumbers into thin slices
- In a large container add water, distilled vinegar, and salt. Stir all together until combined
- Add in sliced cucumbers. Stir the cucumbers with the liquid.
- Cover the container with a lid and place homemade pickles in the fridge. They are ready to be used after 1 day.
