Tips/tricks to make the perfect Tomato Cucumber Salad
- Use a chopper for the cucumbers: If you have a veggie chopper use that to cut the cucumbers! I absolutely love using my veggie chopper, it makes everything so easy and fast. The one I have is a full star vegetable chopper, I highly recommend getting one.
- Block feta cheese tastes fresher: Pre-crumbled feta will still work but if you can buy a block of feta and crumble it. A block of feta cheese has fewer preservatives added to it.
- Use cherry tomatoes: Any tomato will work, but cherry tomatoes are quick and easy to cut in half.
- Rinse the kalamata olives: Before adding in the kalamata olives, give them a quick rinse in a strainer.

Ingredients
- 1 long cucumber
- 2 cups halved cherry tomatoes (any tomatoes will work)
- 1 cup feta cheese
- 7 oz can kalamata olives (rinsed and drained)
- Drizzled of extra virgin olive oil
- Optional: drizzled of red wine vinegar
Instructions
- Chop the cucumber into small bite-size pieces and cut the cherry tomatoes in half. In a medium size bowl, add in all the ingredients and mix them together. Then drizzle on olive oil and mix again.
Notes
Note: If you have a veggie chopper use that to cut the cucumbers! I absolutely love using my veggie chopper, it makes everything so easy and fast. The one I have is fullstar vegetable chopper, I highly recommend getting one.
