When you or a family member has the flu or stomach bug it’s important to keep them hydrated and feed them a bland foods to help ease their stomach. The best bland foods are toast, saltine crackers, chicken noodle soup, eggs, applesauce, mashed potatos, and bananas. It’s important to have them avoid dairy products for a couple days.

Bland food is best to help stomachaches or throwing up. Apple and apple sauce are an easy fruit to eat with a stomach ache. Make sure the apple sauce has no added sugar. Apples help relieve acid reflux and are full of calcium, magnesium, and potassium.

Bananas

Perfect to ease an upset stomach since bananas are easy to digest. They are a great source of potassium.

Liquid I.V Drink Mix + Coconut Water

It’s so important to keep you or a family member hydrated. Drink lots of water along with Liquid I.V and coconut water to help hydrate faster and these provide lots of natural electrolytes for hydration. These options are way better than Gatorade. Gatorade is high in sugar, color dyes, and other unnatural ingredients which overload of sugar harms immune systems. Liquid I.V has 3x the electrolytes compared to Gatorade. When buying coconut water, I always buy the brands that have no sugar added and are made with real coconuts.
