I’ve wanted to make a jam that has real ingredients and no sugar since fruit already has natural healthy sugars. This jam fits all the criteria, plus it’s healthy and tastes so good! This recipe uses strawberries, but you can use any kind of fruit in place of the strawberries to make different kinds of jam.

This strawberry chia seed jam tastes amazing in so many different recipes.
    • Spread on whole-wheat bread or toast
    • Put on whole-wheat rolls
    • Eat-in cottage cheese
    • Mixed into greek plain yogurt to add fruit flavor

      Easy Strawberry Chia Seed Jam

      This jam is made with 3 simple ingredients and there is no sugar added. It's packed with hearty chia seeds that add fiber and omega-3. It taste amazing on bread, waffles, yogurt, crepes, and anything else you like jam on. You can keep this jam in the fridge for up to seven days.

      Ingredients
        

      • 2 cups Strawberries (fresh or frozen)
      • 2 tbsp Chia Seeds
      • 1 tbsp Lemon juice

      Instructions
       

      • Cut off the stems of the strawberries. Slice the strawberries.
      • Place the cut strawberries into a small saucepan.
      • Cook on medium heat for 5 to 10 mins and mash strawberries with a potato masher or back of a spoon.
      • Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice and chia seeds.
      • Pour into a small jar and let the jam cool for 5-10 minutes before putting a lid on
