Healthy Strawberry Chia Seed Jam
Most store-bought jams and traditional jam recipes have lots of sugar and other processed ingredients. I’ve wanted to make a jam that has real ingredients and no sugar since fruit already has natural healthy sugars. This jam fits all the criteria, plus it’s healthy and tastes so good! This recipe uses strawberries, but you can use any kind of fruit in place of the strawberries to make different kinds of jam.
Ways to Eat this Healthy Jam:
- Spread on whole-wheat bread or toast
- Put on whole-wheat rolls
- Eat-in cottage cheese
- Mixed into greek plain yogurt to add fruit flavor
- Stir it into oatmeal or overnight oats
- Make a nut butter and jam sandwich
- Spread pancakes, crepes, or german pancakes

Easy Strawberry Chia Seed Jam
Ingredients
- 2 cups Strawberries (fresh or frozen)
- 2 tbsp Chia Seeds
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
Instructions
- Cut off the stems of the strawberries. Slice the strawberries.
- Place the cut strawberries into a small saucepan.
- Cook on medium heat for 5 to 10 mins and mash strawberries with a potato masher or back of a spoon.
- Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice and chia seeds.
- Pour into a small jar and let the jam cool for 5-10 minutes before putting a lid on
