This granola is easy to make, more budget friendly, and healthy for you. Plus the plain granola taste great with anything! Enjoy it as-is or add it to yogurt, smoothies, acai bowls, etc.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups rolled oats (organic)
  • 1/3 cup natural honey
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil (or almond butter)
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 egg white

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 300 F. In a medium saucepan, heat your honey, oil, and vanilla until smooth and runny. Lightly beat your egg white in a small bowl until frothy.
  • Add your oats to a large bowl, mix in honey mixture and egg white until all your oats are coated. Line a baking sheet with baking paper or grease (I use a nonstick silicone baking mat)
  • Pour oats onto the pan and spread out while still having clumps to get crunchy granola clusters. Bake for 30 minutes or until your granola is golden.
  • Allow granola to cool completely and then store in an airtight jar or container. Homemade granola can last for more than a month.
